Security forces kill 18 terrorists in separate Balochistan operations

Sources confirmed that a joint intelligence-based operation was carried out in the mountainous areas of Ghazaband, following credible reports of terrorist presence.

During a fierce exchange of fire, 10 terrorists were killed, while two security personnel sustained injuries. The slain militants were involved in multiple terrorist acts targeting both civilians and security forces.

A large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession, further underlining the scale of their operations.

According to initial findings, the terrorists killed in Ghazaband were described as Indian-sponsored militants. Officials revealed that they had been operating in the rugged terrain of the area and were planning further attacks.

Security forces stressed that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks backed by external elements.

In parallel actions, security forces also launched IBOs in Zhob and Sherani districts of Balochistan. During these encounters, eight terrorists were neutralized after heavy gunfire.

Similar to Ghazaband, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, preventing potential attacks on local communities.

Military and law enforcement officials reiterated their commitment to the complete eradication of terrorism from Pakistan. They emphasized that such intelligence-driven operations will continue across the country to neutralize threats to peace and stability.

“These operations demonstrate the resolve of our forces to secure Pakistan’s future by eliminating terrorists, their networks, and their external sponsors,” a security source stated.
