Violence against journalists cannot be allowed: Fazl ul Rehman

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that violence against journalists cannot be allowed under any circumstances.

Speaking to media outside the National Press Club in Islamabad, Rehman condemned the incident of terrorism that took place inside the club.

He expressed solidarity with journalists and said that the police took the law into their own hands and assaulted them.

Rehman said that the protest by journalists was justified.
