Salman Safdar submits Imran Khan meeting report to SC
Acting on the instructions of the Supreme Court, Barrister Salman Safdar has submitted his report after meeting the jailed founder of PTI.
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, he shared details of the meeting and the concerns raised during his visit.
Salman Safdar, appointed as friend of the court (amicus curiae), said he presented in his report exactly what the PTI founder told him during their meeting. “I have presented the things that the founder of PTI told me in my report,” he stated.
According to Safdar, the PTI founder acknowledged his status as a prisoner and said he had no specific program or high expectations.
“He said, ‘I know that I am serving time in jail. I have no specific program nor high expectations,’” Safdar quoted.
Addressing health-related concerns, Safdar told reporters that the PTI founder could not meet any doctor or specialist. He reiterated that during the meeting, it was conveyed that no consultation with a medical specialist had taken place.
