Interviews held for the appointment of visiting faculty in IUB

BAHAWALPUR : On the directions of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran for the first time, interviews have been held for the appointment of visiting faculty for all departments and campuses at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur after a proper advertisement.

The Vice Chancellor himself participated in these interviews along with the respective deans, heads of teaching departments and senior faculty to ensure the selection of candidates on purely merit. In total, applications from more than 500 candidates were received for 58 subjects in teaching departments.

Today, interviews were held at Baghdad ul-Jadeed Campus for all three campuses of Bahawalpur. While interviews will be conducted with candidates for the Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan and Liaquatpur campuses tomorrow. The Directorate of Academics has determined the vacancies of visiting faculty where genuine need for hiring visiting faculty. An interview panel was set up to select candidates to ensure quality education. Candidates who are successful in these interviews will perform teaching duties in the current semester.
