Security convoy targeted in Turbat ; over 10 personnel injured

More than ten security personnel sustained injuries when a convoy was attacked at Kunchati Cross in Turbat, according to police sources.

The vehicles, which were travelling from Godar to Turbat along the M-8 National Highway, came under attack during transit. The convoy reportedly comprised eight to ten Coaster and squad vehicles.

Initial findings suggested that a vehicle laden with explosives struck the convoy. The nature of the blast remained under investigation.

A large contingent of security forces reached the site following the incident to secure the area and assess the situation.
