VC IUB Dr. Muhammad Kamran attended the Conference in Weifang,

BAHAWALPUR : Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran attended the China-Pakistan Modern Agriculture Industry Education Collaborative Innovation Development Conference in Weifang,

China. In his address at the conference, the Vice Chancellor emphasised on further enhancing educational and industrial cooperation and collaboration, joint projects, faculty and student exchange programs and technical and educational cooperation between the two friendly neighbouring countries. Nadir Chatha, Secretary Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Punjab, Khan Muhammad, Science Counsellor of the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, and Tanveer Ahmed,

Chairman, Department of Horticulture, MNS Agriculture University, Multan, addressed the conference as keynote speakers. On this occasion, a cooperation and collaboration agreement was also signed between Islamia University of Bahawalpur and School Enterprise Cooperation China. Prof. Dr. Naveed Aslam Mulghani, Senior Faculty Member, the Islamia University Bahawalpur was also present on the occasion.

The agreement will pave the way to further promote existing cooperation between Pakistan and China in the field of agriculture so that industry and academia can strengthen linkages in modernising agricultural technical education and make coordinated efforts for sustainable agriculture. During the visit, discussions were also held to establish a China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance.
