IUB will fully participate in flood relief activities. Dr Kamran

BAHAWALPUR : Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has said that the university community will fully participate in flood relief activities to help the people affected by the devastating flood. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while sending the IUB Relief Cell team to the affected areas. The Vice Chancellor said that a camp is being set up at the main gate of the Abbasia Campus University where teachers, employees, students, parents, alumni and community members as well as the general public can deposit relief items. In addition, the University Flood Relief Cell account has also been activated in which relief funds can be deposited.

IUB Flood Relief Cell Head Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha gave a briefing about the ongoing relief activities in the areas along the banks of the Sutlej River in collaboration with the District Administration, Rescue 1122 and other institutions. Meanwhile, the university team visited Mari Qasim Shah and other areas affected by the floods of the Sutlej River and reviewed the work for relief activities.
