Apple has unveiled two flagship devices — the iPhone Air and the iPhone 17 Pro — giving customers a tough choice.
In contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro is thicker at 8.75mm and heavier at 206 grams. It offers a smaller 6.3-inch display compared to the Air’s 6.5-inch screen, but both use Super Retina XDR panels with ProMotion technology for smooth visuals.
Here’s where the biggest differences appear.
- iPhone 17 Pro: Equipped with a Pro Fusion triple-camera system (48MP wide, ultrawide, and telephoto). It supports macro photography, 8x optical zoom, ProRAW mode, and advanced 4K Dolby Vision video recording.
- iPhone Air: Comes with a single 48MP Fusion camera, offering up to 2x zoom. It lacks ultrawide and telephoto options, with video recording capped at lower framerates.
Both phones feature the new 18MP Center Stage front camera, which automatically adjusts framing during selfies and video calls.
