Mohsin Gilani elected new president of Pakistan Football Federation

LAHORE – Mohsin Gilani has been elected as the new president of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). His election is being hailed as a positive development for the future of football in the country, especially at a time when the administrative problems and uncertainty facing football in Pakistan have affected the development of the game.

The election of the new president has raised hopes in football circles that the new PFF chief will play an effective role in strengthening the football infrastructure in the country, training young players, and promoting Pakistan’s representation at the international level.

Mohsin Gilani said in his address that he will make every effort to develop football in Pakistan, and run the federation under a transparent and trustworthy system. He said that promoting football at the grassroots level, improving coaching programs and facilities are among his top priorities.

Under the leadership of the new president, the PFF now faces several challenges, including a shortage of financial resources, the restoration of the league system, and the restoration of relations with FIFA and the AFC.
